June, 2017, Mr. Robin Ma was appointed as the General Manager of Kempinski Hotel Huizhou by Kempinski Group in June 2017, he will be in charge of the operation management and business development of this luxury property.
Mr. Robin Ma has 23 years of hospitality working experience, including 2 years of oversea working experience and 5 years working as General Manager of hotels.
Robin embarked on his hospitality career with Peninsula Beijing in 1994, after that he continued his career with IHG, Jinjiang Group and Jinmao Group throughout several destinations including Beijing, Suzhou and Shanghai as Director of Rooms, Director of Operations and Owner Representative.
In his recent position as Hotel Manager for Sunrise Kempinski Beijing & Yanqi Lake, he was instrumental for the handling of several large international government meetings, including APEC meeting and BRF, Understanding China Summit, G20 Energy and Economic Ministers Meeting, and received high praise from the leaders of the participated countries.
As Chinese national, Robin speaks in additional to his mother tongue Mandarin fluent English as well as some Swahili, a language spoken in Southeast Africa.
