Our leadership development program is customized to assist graduating students in launching a global career in hospitality. Successful candidates will be placed in a leadership position in one of our hotels around the world. After graduation from the college, she came back to Shanghai her hometown, join in Leadership Development Program in Fairmont Peace Hotel in 2013. In 2014 Diane moved to the Food & Beverage Division to develop in our breakfast operations and was later promoted to Assistant Manager in the Cathay Room and Terrace. Due to Diane’s success in Cathay she was nominated as Leader of the First Quarter for 2015. After she graduated in 2014, she got her first full-time job as a Guest Service Agent at Fairmont Chicago, Millennium Park. She joined Fairmont Peace Hotel in August 2015 as one of the LDP participants at this property and still in the middle of the program. 宋星璇毕业于美国密歇根州立大学酒店管理学院。2013年夏，曾在阳澄湖费尔蒙酒店实习。2014年毕业后，作为宾客服务职员就职于芝加哥费尔蒙千禧公园。2015年8月回到费尔蒙和平饭店，开启了她的LDP培训项目之旅。目前她的培训还在进行中。She has been rotating at Fairmont Gold and Front Desk Department so far. She has gained more acknowledgement about hotel(e.g.hotel history and facilities, room features.),Corporate culture , system operation,service concept, team building and guest handling,etc. Besides she was connected with a great and experienced LDP mentor, F&B Director, who has been giving her valuable advice, sharing cases helping her with looking at things differently and thinking out of the box, which is adding more value for her leadership development. Her exceptional customer service has been recognized by guests and senior leaders, and the Star of the Month was awarded to her in February 2016.
